I don’t know why I haven’t linked to this before now because I really like some of the photos MaxArcher of cosplayshots.com  took of this outfit I bought while in Akihabara last year. He wanted to do a shoot, but I didn’t have anything new to show. Because of that, it’s essentially just a wig, contacts, and a pre-made costume, hence I won’t upload any of it here. I still want to share it though! I love that costume even though I didn’t make it myself.

I have a few and they are fun to wear around conventions when I don’t want to deal with a big costume. Who doesn’t love maids, right?

So I’m past the stage of feeling like I’m going to pass out, and have moved on to denial of it ever having happened. I’m trying to remember what my psychology professor said the next stage of coping is…

You know when something is so awesome, it’s traumatic? Yeah…it’s that awesome. XD

If anyone ever questioned what a big nerd I am, this should bring you back to reality. I’m having a mini-heart attack over being featured in that post about cosplay. I know, some of you reading are thinking I should probably get out more, but this is seriously a big, big deal for me.

I’m going to go back to answering some of the emails I just received and pining over pictures the nendoroid saber lion as usual… Yeah, I spend my friday nights in style!~

So I decided to enter the Otacool2 cosplay book contest. Here’s to hoping I get a little page space!

I think it would be nice if you took a look at my entry…no pressure, or course! Too bad SaberLily is a bit more pushy than me about it.

Also, I’m enamored with my new figure. Particularly the ice shaver. If only there existed a full scale real version of that thing! T__T I want one so bad! I’d make ice cones constantly, even if it was freezing outside…

My only complaint is my unlucky choice of one with some overspray or a finger print on her ribbon :/ Other than that, it’s a nice figure. It’s huge too.

I’ll have my Nagi costume up by the end of this week and my Kagome and Emma Sheen at the end of the month.


Costume Related: Got the fabric for my Maid Saber! Ordering the petticoat ASAP. Hopefully I will have something up by Valentine’s Day ^_ That’s my intended goal to have it done and get a photoshoot for it so I can have a holiday post.
Now if only I can track down a figure of that Saber. I really want the one with the mop! >:3 Too bad it’s rare and expensive! I think I will just settle for the good smile one with the chair though. It’s cute too, just not as sexy~
